Hello!
This is my realization of a set of fruit/vegetable fridge magnets which are both cute and useful to hold reminders, papers, or other sorts of notes.
This set has Apple & Banana designs. If you wish to get the full set you can find it on cults3d. Here’s the link: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/fridge-magnets-set
The design has 4 main features:
1- Insertion/Removal Socket: this is where you place your magnet in.
2- Extra Contact Hole: this will give the magnet more holding strength to the fridge.
3- Removal Hole: For reusability purposes and not to make it necessary to break your print into pieces to reuse the magnet, you can use a small hex key to push the magnet back and retrieve it.
4- Snap Fit: when you push the magnet into the designated socket it will snap in place.
Printing Instructions:
1- Download the Files
2- Slice using your favorite slicer
3- If you want to print using two colors, make sure the last two layers are printed in a different color.
4- Carrot Hair & Orange Leaf will need to be printed with minimal supports.
5- Insert the magnet (the size used in all of the fruits is 10x3mm which you can find here https://amzn.to/3cC4NRV). If you can buy directly from the provided link I’d appreciate it since it’s an Amazon affiliate link and will help me get by. Use pliers by opening them(opposite of how you use them normally) to exert enough push on the magnet to slide it in
6- Enjoy!
Make sure to share pictures of your makes 🙂
Thank you.
Note: The included banana is slightly different than the shown picture. Will try to update the pictures if I get the time.
