Watering Planter

As an avid plant keeper, long periods away from home became a problem for me. After my return, any plant can be either a dried-up mass, a healthy plant, or a plant drowned by an overly-enthousiastic neighbour.

So now I have access to my very own 3d printer, I’m designing my very own watering planter! Looks good enough to work as a regular pot when I’m home, and keeps the plants healthy while I’m gone.

~The open design allows thirsty plants to root directly into the water reservoir for a sip

~Pot makes over-watering pretty much impossible; excess water simply will leak out instead

~Watering from below means consistent soil moisture level and less opportunity for fungus

~Requires no support when printing
