IKEA SAMLA is perfect container for 3D printing filament, though it is not airtight. This clip helps! This ultimate design pushes container lid hard towards container so it is firmly closed. It can be used for Filaments storage as for other applications too.
Any plastic can be used to print these clips. I have used PLA.
Best position to print – put these clips on their side and enable supports.
To assemble this clip you will need:
- Two screws M5 x 60
- Two M5 nuts
Optional:
If you want to fix clip to container lid, you can use:
- 5mm drill bit
- Two screws M5 x 15
- Two M5 nuts
Or you can use double sided tape
