Here’s a replacement Gear Lever Pivot for a Thrustmaster T300 RS Steering Wheel. Sadly mine broke and finding there wasn’t one on here, I thought it would be best if I tried to remodel it & post it.
The pictures show the original piece, the 3d printed part & the part fitted.
I have printed this and it does indeed work but will require a degree of post print fettling in order to get it to fit. Here’s a few of note……..
The 2 screw holes are probably raised up too high by about 1mm.
The cross on the bottom side mayt ne in the wrong position by about 1 mm but I found taking a knife and whittling worked well enough when test fitting it.
General sanding and smoothing to optimize is a must.
I hav eincluded the sketchup file as I find reworking STL’s to be a thankless task and a generally miserable experience (but thas just me).
I printed it in ABS but PLA might be fine, I’m just not sure how long it will last.
Printing took just over 23 mins using cura on default settings apart from choosing “Support Everywhere” in order to raise it up for the bottom cross.
Hopefully it’s of some help or use to some one, I know it’s made me a very happy bunny indeed 😀
