3D printed ducts for Reptile Cloud-149
After a succesful maiden I got cocky on the second lipo and tried to hit a small gap.
Needless to say, I found myself with a broken duct shortly after. Nobody seems to have made a 3D printed version of them yet, so I took the time to do so. Enjoy FPV friends! =)
Modeled after the original ducts. The original ducts have brass inserts, but I just screwed right into the plastic and it seems to be fine. Requires some work on the screw holes to get going but once the screws grab you can tighten them up good.
These are a fair bit heavier than the original (26 grams vs 10 grams each) but they are THICC and feel pretty stong.
Print with 1.6 wall thickness (4 walls using 0.4 nozzle) and 0% infill for efficient printing. Fast print with these settings. Had some trouble with the screw holes due to travel distance and retraction with combing enabled, recommend turning combing mode off.
