Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that Tehran will continue “resisting” US economic and political pressure, amid heightened tensions in the Gulf region. Khamenei addressed a crowd in Tehran on Tuesday to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic.
