I know that I can use a bump map to give a rendered object the appearance of having a texture. What I would like to do 3d print an object that has the texture on it. So rather than just giving an appearance of a texture, I am looking to find out how to use the map to physically change the vertices positions so the texture is able to be printed. How is that done?
