at the end of March, I took a few road trips on highways and that is when I first noticed this issue. If I went above 50 mph while using my phone for navigation the map would freeze for between .2-.8 miles and it even froze for 1.8 miles once. This caused me to miss turns a few times and it would then take a while to reroute me because it was still frozen. It also glitches and the arrow just rocks back and forth on the map even though I’m driving at a constant speed.
I contacted apple support and they told me to restore my phone to factory settings. I did that and it seemed to solve the problem for about 2 weeks, but now the issue is happening again. It’s something that happens regardless if I use apple maps or google maps and I don’t know what to do about it, other than constantly restoring my phone every time I need to use it for big trips.
Is anyone else dealing with this or is it just my phone? For context I have an iPhone 11 and it’s currently running iOS 16.4.1
