USGS Geo map TAR GZ package – March 19, 2023 at 05:17PM

I’m trying to use a geologic map from USGS on ArcMap. The ArcMap spatial data download is a tar go file. I am able extract the files using 7zip and import conversion from eoo file tool on ArcMap, however it doesn’t display the map just polygons and lines. I’ve learned all my GIS skills by google so I’m sure there is something I’ve done wrong or missed. Should I download the image file and geo reference it?
