Taungsday (Am I Right) and the Other Days of the Star Wars Week –

Did you know Coruscant had five days of the week? Primeday, Centaxday, Zhellday, Benduday, and Taungsday, am I right? Both Benduday and Taungsday were mentioned in the nineteenth chapter of The Mandalorian. Taungsday actually has ties back to Mandalorian culture. Star Wars Legends says that Coruscant was once inhabited by two peoples: the Taung and the Zhell. They warred over control of the world, and the Zhell won. The Taung fled and eventually settled on the planet that would become Mandalore, led by their leader, Mandalore the First. That’s all still considered to be Legends and not canon, but it’s cool to see a reference to Mandalorian origins in the series.
