Hi all,
I’ve been asked to look into making a grid-tile map of the world which could be printed out large-format and hung on a wall. It would cover basically the latitudes over which the ISS flies. Like those decorative ones people push pins into, except here we’re using each grid square as a crude georeference system for image files. E.g. you could walk up to the map and put pins in grid squares to mark ones covered. It’s half for fun of having it big on the wall.
Anyway I’m having trouble figuring out what phrasing to google to get a guide on how to do this. Arc is most convenient for me but I can use QGIS if it’s easier there.
Thank you!
