Neo-Babylonia, the Medes, and Persia are listed under “Assyria’s Successors” while Egypt, Lydia, and Kilikia are labeled under “Assyria’s Descendants”.

This makes me really want a game set around 800 BCE with the rise of the Neo-Assyrian Empire during the start of the Iron Age, being the first real powerhouse of the Middle East since the Bronze Age collapse.
