The Blade of Bardotta’s Rare Lightsaber Ability –

Porter Engle, also known as the Blade of Bardotta, has been touted as one of the most talented lightsaber duelists to ever live. And in the first issue of the comic, The Blade by Charles Soule, he has already demonstrated a rare and impressive ability through the Force. He can spar with his lightsaber using the Force. We *have* seen both Jedi and Sith using telekinesis to manipulate their lightsabers before. But most often the Force is used to create a barrier or to simply throw and recall their weapon. The *only* time I can recall another character using the Force to duel with their lightsaber with such finesse is Knights of the Old Republic Two, when Darth Traya used the Force to spar with *three* lightsabers at once. It’s an interesting connection, to be sure. Porter Engle is great as the Blade so far, but he’s definitely got some stiff competition as the supposed best from Star Wars Legends.
