Hi everyone.
I created my first custom maps (A2 sized) for an upcoming hiking trip and am looking into printing them locally. I’ve read that synthetic paper is the way to go as it is waterproof, etc. However, none of the local print shops I’ve called seem have heard of it.
So far I have the following options:
- silk paper 220 gsm
- Grey Back Vinyl 200 gsm ()
- “Normal paper” 200 to 260 gsm
Was wondering if anyone can give some advice on what to choose or if there are other materials I should be able to find in other shops. Thanks!
