3D printing vs Foam/clay dungeon and battle map tiles? Which one should I start with – October 24, 2022 at 10:55PM

I’ve been playing a long time and recently got a couple 3d printers and have been painting all my minis. Now I want to take the next step and go from my flat chessex mega mat to something a bit more advanced and detailed than what I can do on the flat map. I have two fdm printers I could have printing tiles all the time using one of the many printing systems. Or I could start with the foam and clay tiles which I forget his name on YouTube but it’s something archive. Which one would be more cost effective and which one would be easier?
