Lyft map PTSD – October 3, 2022 at 08:26AM

Official diagnosis aside, i never cared much for PTSD. Always seemed a whine-a thon.But, on using Lyft driving app for the first time..it triggered mine – from a recent accident.

Though fiddling with settings has improved its experience somewhat, I still get major per-trip anxiety since, compared to Uber mapping, I dont get the same mapping details – and am not sure quite where to turn In time. I resorted to ignoring it and Google maps (just awful), and invoking Apple Maps independently (speak the address at outset of ride).

i never realized , till losing it, how valuable it was to have Apple Maps quality of turn by turn with the Uber app map showing the big picture (and auto rotating, too!). The Lyft tools seem amateurish!

are there solutions?
