Moved states – one or two new (replacement) companies

I moved states (OH->KY) this year and wish to form one or two new LLCs to take their place. Currently I have two different ones because their business practices are quite different. One is an IT consulting company while the other is a 3D printing farm. Over time, lines have been slightly blurred with the IT consulting company paying for the tech of the print farm. Both companies are S-corps because I have another full time IT job and both companies carry insurance. The consulting company usually breaks about even with the 3D printing one doing much better (still less than 100K). Neither have any fixed assets and it’s operated out of my home.

Considering the above, does it really make sense to file multiple LLCs in the new state and continue paying for things separately or just make a single LLC and file different DBAs with the state for branding protection?

While operating a foreign LLC is a possibility, I’d much rather just get rid of all ties to Ohio because I’m not going back there.
