Makita Double Charger Hanger Remix

large_preview_HD_makita-dualcharger-moun

Quick remix of syakely’s original Makita Double Charger Hanger with TinkerCad making the top and bottom brackets beefier (thicker) and adding holes on the front of the bottom bracket to match the mounting screw holes to make it easier to drive in the screws. I added holes versus making the bracket longer as suggested in a comment – saves filament this way. I suggest printing them using PETG filament as I did with 4 top, bottom and perimeter layers at 40% infill, .28 layer height and be sure to use a 2 layer 12 outline skirt for best print bed adhesion as PETG likes to warp. Hat’s off to syakely for the original design – I just made it beefier as suggested by one of the people who made an original set using PLA. This set works great in my garage and it is very sturdy. Printed on my CR-6 but these are easy prints with no supports and will print well on most if not all 3D printers.
