I am a High School student and this year I am doing hybrid learning and there is not much room to put my school supplies. I also play and love golf so I figured that this would be a great way to combine the two. It includes things such as a place to put pens/pencils, a phone stand made out of golf clubs, and a mini hole to put into. This would help me stay much more organize cause right now it is a bit of a mess. Also, the phone stand would be the perfect place for me to put my phone while I listen to music or watch a video. I’m sure that my classmates would also appreciate the features that it has and would find it helpful. One issue that popped up while I was designing this is that I, like most people, do not have very much desk to put this on, so I had to scale down the design a bit to fit most people’s space. Another issue I ran into was when I was designing the bag portion or and where the pencils and pens go it was hard to create something that was able to be 3D printed and also have a good amount of texture and design to it. I think that I was able to make a good blend of the two. If I were to redesign this I would have added another feature to it to make it more useful. An example of this feature could be a place to put USBs or headphones, and I use both of these all the time during online learning. 3D printing my design would help me strengthen my design because I would be able to see if all of my parts are compatible and see if they hold up in the real world. These would be helpful for me to know when I’m making future designs and if something I do will 3D print and whether it will work or not. This desk organizer is useful and also cool for anyone who likes golf to help out during online learning.
