epic-3d-printed-rc-race-car

Are you new or experienced with the 3D Printing World and looking to print something functional? or are you into RC vehicles and looking into building one of the coolest 3D Printed RC Cars put there?

Then you have come to the right place.

This Project is the result of days of testing and reiterating. The TS-1 3D Printed RC Car was made with the purpose of being an extremely simple, affordable, reliable, and made with as many 3D printed parts as possible.I hope you have as much fun building it and driving it as I did!

The Car Uses 2M self tapping screws all over. This is to reduce complexity and costs. If you are new to the hobby you might also need to purchase a Li-Po Battery Balance charger.

The total cost of all hardware and electronics is just below $100 USD (WHICH IS ONE OF THE LOWEST PRICES FOR PROJECTS OF THIS TYPE). Even less if you already own an RC Transmitter and Receiver!

Not only is this car cost efficient, but it can reach crazy top speeds considering the hardware. +40km/h (I have personally reached 42Km/h while theorical speed is of about 52km/h)

This is what you will need to buy:

1 A2212 Brushless Motor 1000kv

1 <20A ESC (Take off the fan if it has one)

1 SG90 Metal Servo

1 2.4Ghz Receiver and Transmitter

1 >2200mah 3S Li-Po Battery

  • Assorted 2M Screws

4 MR115-2RS Bearings

8 6700ZZ Bearings

1 Super Glue

~600g of PLA or filament/resin of choice

~200g of TPU (optional)

The File package comes with links where I purchased my electronics, detailed instructions and printing recommendations. This project is tons of fun, Plus you get to drive a fast fully functional RC Race Car by the end of it.

I would really appreciate it if you could follow me on Instagram where I will be posting updates on this and other projects as well as subscribing to my Youtube Channel.
