Metric Bead Sizer

large_preview_Mm_Bead_Sizer.png

This sizer is used for determining the size of beads. If you have a 3D printer or CNC machine then you could probably just use your calipers to measure beads, but these make nice gifts for friends who like to craft. Here’s how it works: place the bead on a string and lower the bead into a measuring hole. Pull the string tightly at both ends to keep the bead holes oriented in a straight line. You’ll be able to get an approximate size when the bead just barely fits end-to-end inside the square hole.

You should definitely double check the dimensions after you make this to ensure the measurements are correct, or possibly have it made professionally if you can’t get the desired accuracy.

I decided to make my designs available for free as a way of giving back to the 3D printing community. If you are able to give a tip, it would be greatly appreciated as I am a freelance worker. If you cannot afford a tip, then please go out and do a random act of kindness and that will be payment enough 🙂

Please let me know if you find any errors/issues with the models so I can fix them, thanks. Happy printing!
