Extra bits for Wolf Dominion Crusader – Luna Style

Do you love the claws in the original wolf conversion kit, but want to field your knight as a crusader? Then this kit might be for you!

GUN ARMS

The gun-arms were inspired by the chaos forgefiend. The original wolf claws are awesome but I wanted to field my knight as a crusader; so I needed more dakka. I found a way to get both by just mashing the guns and claws together! The original idea was to replace the gun shield with the wolf claw, but I couldn’t get it to look right.

LEG ARMOR

The upside-down thigh armor is meant to be used as an alternative shin guard. I thought the bulkiness of the regular knight shin guards took away from the overall wolfiness, but I found that placing an upside-down piece of thigh armor on the lower leg instead gives it a more slender appearance (making this work requires removing the front-most piston). This can be resized to taste if you want more coverage.

Combining this part with the optional middle legs and wolf feet from the dominion crusader kit gives your knight a pretty animalistic feel; especially if you pose it with one leg forward and dramatically angled (like a wolf padding towards its prey!).

LOGO

I wanted to field Sebtheis’s amazing wolf knight, but my friend plays furry marines and I thought it would be weird to fight against someone with the same logo as me. So I gave it a lunar wolves twist instead!

If you prefer the furry marine variety, their logo can easily be found elsewhere on thingverse and placed directly on top of the luna logo in chitubox, 3d builder, or whatever software you use.

I originally intended to make a shoulder too, but I ran out of steam. However the lunar wolf logo is very thin and can easily be resized, bent to the desired contour (use a bit of hot water, and glued to a shoulder or wherever else you want.

PRINTING

All files have been successfully print-tested. This testing involved going through prusaslicers free netfab auto-repair service (no manual repairing required). If you don’t use prusaslicer, meshmixer or even windows stock 3d builder should work fine too.

SUPPORT

The supported files were too large to fit here after going through the photon validator, but these will print fine with prusaslicers auto-supports with a run through the photon validator (which works with any printer or files, you don’t need to have a photon).
