These wing tip nav light indicators identify your wingtips while at night, to give an indication that your nav lights are functioning and give a visual reference of your wing tips. Simply remove your Grimes nav light assembly with a philips screwdriver. These are designed to be installed without the need to disconnect any wiring. The design allows the wiring to slip through the opening. Works with high-or-low-wing aircraft. Designed for use with Grimes and Whelen nav light assemblies, which means it will fit most general aviation and experimental aircraft.
Two files are uploaded. One is for 3d printing and includes a small opening along the outer edge to allow wiring to slip through. The other is for fabrication on a cnc router, which does not include the opening. If you make this on a cnc router, I recommend cutting an opening with a thin blade saw to keep the opening as small as possible.
