I have a feature class in an enterprise geodatase and a table in a different database (all SQL).
Both of them are published to my Enterprise Portal (11.0 if it matters). What I would like to do is have a join or relate, something so that users can click on a point from the feature class in a web app and see all the relevant information from the table in a pop-up. Some other notes: it’s a 1:M relate, one record in the feature class will have multiple matches in the table. Ideally I could also have a field in the pop-up that’s dynamically calculated based on filters the user can apply in the web app. The most important thing is just getting to see the data from the related table though.
I would consider just having all of the data in the feature class to begin with, but the table is currently 18,000 rows and will continue to grow a lot in coming months/years. My company needs to keep the data in the table it’s currently in so if I have it stored in my feature class as well that’s a lot of duplicated data.
