Really hoping CA eventually add Ind and Khuresh regions to the map – April 1, 2023 at 02:57PM

Let’s be honest, It’s pretty wishful thinking to expect any big “Kingdoms of Ind” or “Snakemen of Khuresh” factions to be added, as much as I’d like to see them. Cathay by itself was a major addition to the established world done entirely in collaboration with GW, knowing they’d be added to “The Old World” when that drops, so I don’t know how many obscure factions they want to pull up. But hey, I’d love to be proven wrong.
Still, I really hope CA eventually opens up the Lands of Ind and Khuresh by adding some regions there, perhaps filling them up with some generic factions, maybe Beastmen for Ind (since they had severals around lorewise) and Lizardmen for Khuresh (since they had a temple-city lost in the jungles), or even using Cathay units like they did with Empire ones for Southern Realms and pre-WH3 Kislev, making some minor eastern factions altogether.
I just think it’s a real shame to see the world map or people showing off their endgame map and see those two blank pieces of land, it just looks incomplete. Plus, having access to Ind and Khuresh as regions would mean giving modders space and resources to eventually put down their own factions like it happened by the brilliant Southern Realms by Cataph or the wonderful Araby by the OVN team.
That’s it, just a thought I had while working on stuff. Whole new official factions may be a bit much to ask, but man, that would be a good start.
