Map creation software that allows for easy edits? – March 27, 2023 at 10:37AM

So, I’ve tried wonderdraft and others, and you can make beautiful maps. But I always come across a problem, when I want to edit the map it breaks all over. In wondercraft for example, I have to cut a part and drag it. Rivers have to be redone, kingdoms, assets. This becomes very tiring due to the way the software works, since rivers for example I have to draw them piece by piece.

My project is big, it has several eras and a world changing frequently. And it’s in development. I’m looking for a program that makes it easier for me to edit the map, change a border or add a nation.

Does anyone know of a program that allows this? It doesn’t have to be the prettiest map style, it just needs to be functional.
