Army strip map – March 15, 2023 at 11:32PM

So why would a company commander want a strip map to a persons house let alone the barracks. I understand it was necessary back in the day for recalls when there wasn’t any cell phones around. I can’t find any reg that covers it other than the some old army study guide crap. I think it’s unnecessary.
