I saw this video by SteR and I really liked the idea. SteR’s map however seemed to be geared toward RRO veterans. Therefore, I thought I would try my best to solve the main issue pointed out by SteR without changing the difficulty level at all. In an attempt to do this, I swapped the logging camp with the refinery. I then swapped the Ironworks with the Smelter. I made two save files, one with all industries connected, and another with just the sawmill and freight depot connected. I could not get the tree replacer to work correctly so there are scars in the forest where my track used to run on the mostly empty map. Both saves should start with Betsy and two flat cars (sorry, didn’t think to replace them with skeleton cars). Link to both save files here submitted by /u/Erabior to r/RailroadsOnline |
