Question on how to obtain a map for Area Solar Radiation analysis. – March 10, 2023 at 03:32PM

As a beginner in ARCGIS, I’m trying to make a solar radiation analysis for the surrounding area of the city of Youndé, Cameroon. The tool I’m trying to implement is linked below.

I am starting from scratch, so I also must obtain a base layer. The issue is that I’m not sure in which format the layer must be for this type of analysis. Must it be multispectral? Also, it must be more than one image, since the tool analysis irradiance through time.

I’m a bit overwhelmed by the software, but I am motivated to push though. Some help would help a lot.
