Screwed up texture map

I posted this in the forums a couple days ago & hadn’t had any response, so thought I’d let ol’ reddit have at it.

Opened a model [just now] and the texture map is all screwed up. Was still set to cylindrical, around the correct axis, but it just looks all screwy. Literally.

In the attached screen grabs, the sides are supposed to (and did last time I had the model open) look like the bottom surface.

I’ve tried rotating the texture map controls this way and that to see if I can get the proper alignment, but I can’t seem to Rubik’s cube it into the correct orientation. Haven’t had this open since the last update so I’m wondering if there was some kind of new mapping bug introduced or if there’s some new toggle I’m missing.
