My continent of Avensturia was made for my D&D game world with fully custom lore. I will be posting lore and stories about it here, and seeing this map first will be beneficial. – March 4, 2023 at 01:06PM

I was referred by r/fantasywriters here as a place to share my work with more than just my players. Feel free to use my world, religion gods, economy and anything else in your world, just name an adventurer after me or something.

It was first inspired by an old game called Drakensang the Dark Eye, which I later learned was a setting for 2E D&D. Most of my work is inspired by real-world religions and nations, and by random pictures on Pinterest. As I don’t really know how to find the original artists, I will not be posting them alongside my work. This developed into a far wider project over the last 4 or so years.

The continent exists alongside two others, one named Flamerock by humans, where the Dragonborn race comes from, and another named Illium, believed to be just a small island and is an ancient home to the elves. In subsequent posts I will be posting about each of these regions and their mode of governing, that is if I don’t bore you too much too soon.
