how do you map out your history/timeline? – February 3, 2023 at 01:07PM

I recently gotten into lore history. What I mean by that, is that I like making timelines of my own world, novels and games I love, and the real world, because I enjoy putting together which events took place at the same time (“did you know cleopatra lived closer to the first Pizzahut being built than to the building of the pyramids” – that kind of thing.)

But it’s not easy to organize all that information in a coherent way. How do you do it? I tried out several free timeline tools, for example, but if the dates are too far apart, they tend to wig out.

Any tips?
