Hey there! I was excited to find this community today. I’m an avid fan of fantasy and maps. I work as a Sr. GIS Analyst during the day, and in my spare time love reading fantasy novels, drawing and recently got into drawing fantasy maps. Actually, next month one of my maps will be published in a soon to release novel!
I’m interested in learning more about how others in the community produce their maps and how to get into picking up commissions for maps. Currently I’m using Procreate and an iPad Pro to produce maps, which doesn’t seem super common from what I’ve read skimming some forum posts so far. Interested in looking into GIMP in the near future.
