I have a 3D printer, and a friend sent me a model to print. It doesn’t look great, but it did come with a normal map (among 3 other maps)
I last studied with Maya, Mudbox and zBrush nearly 10 years ago and vaguely recall that it was possible to “burn”(?) bump maps and/or normals into mesh, but haven’t been able to work out how, and google isn’t helping, so i think I have the terminology wrong.
Maybe I need to convert the normal map into a bump map?
I have Maya and zBrush. If I need a different program, just let me know.
Thank you!!
