This is another one of my volunteer projects and part of my way to “pay it forward”.
When the map opens it is centered in Washington State and two ArcGIS overlay layers are ‘on’. One layer displays the PAD-US public land layer with some opacity. The other layer displays the same data but with no fill and a solid black outline.
To turn on parcel lines for any of the 26 states, click the basemap button (next to the “Menu” button) and look under the “Overlay” heading. Mobile users need to scroll down. Click a state to turn it on and again to turn it off.
Click within a parcel to see all the attribute data the GIS server has for the thing that you clicked.
The map is displayed by GISsurfer which is a general purpose web map I developed. For more info please see https://gissurfer.com
For help and to get the most benefit from the map, there is a “Map Tips” link in the upper left corner. One of the first things you will see is a prominent disclaimer about parcel line data.
