Astronaut Koichi Wakata Talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida – Dec. 16, 2022 –
Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 68 Flight Engineer Koichi Wakata of JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) discussed living and working in space during an in-flight interview Dec. 16 with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Wakata launched October 5 on the SpaceX Dragon “Endurance” as part of Crew-5, which is a science mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration missions.
