So my players are currently in the valley known as the Crag in the Hearthstones, fighting the locals, who are pillaging and murdering merchants. They are taking a quick detour to the tower of Ushandril the Darkseer, a half-elven mage who sealed himself inside his tower with the evils he unleashed (the tower is north of the crag and is just called Ushandril to make it fit).

Some points of interest: The dominant government is the Empire, the capital of which is the city of Reium.

The lands south of the Sinah Desert have never been mapped, for it is the home of the orcs and goblinoids. Ghasvadak is their northernmost permanent settlement. The Sinah forts guard the Empire from these enemies.

The humans fled when their homeland, the continent to the east, was consumed by natural disasters. The eastern coast where they landed is named for Iskander, the hero that led them east.

Some humans were separated by storms and swept north, where they settled the Broken Isles and Reyjavik.

The Hearthstones are the center of dwarven culture.
