A few years ago there was a challenge which was map from the perspective of a certain fantasy race or monster. For instance you could map a region from the perspective of a dwarf and it might be more like a subway map or something, or map from a region from the perspective of an orc and it might make note of good raiding areas etc. I really liked the one and it generated many ideas for me.

Given the interest of the map a shape challenges we could also try mixing it up and having a challenge which would be a “map this shape from the perspective of” where you get the shape prompts and also have to map it from a perspective of a monster, or a fantasy race.
