How can I build a small 3D and/or VR world similar to the HoTD/GoT intro map? – November 5, 2022 at 03:35PM

There’s a personal project I’m trying to do and I found some inspiration from the House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones shows intros/opening themes. However, I’ve been doing some research on the right software/engines to use and I came across Unreal Engine and Unity but these seem like heavy programs designed for professional game developers so I don’t want to get ahead of myself and end up learning the wrong thing or doing an “overkill”. They look like cool tools and I wouldn’t mind learning how to use them but I just need to weigh all my options first.
