Hey all,
I have a map series of a county. It is a grid index with 13 books in it. Each book covers a part of the county and contains multiple pages.
The above figure is book 1 of the map series. The issue is needing the area overview to update to the next book area. If I move to another area/book, the base map of the ‘Area Overview’ remains the same. The indicator (pink area) moves to the current extent though. So I have to activate the data frame for the area overview and manually drag and set the area for it. For this process, I have to do it 13 times if I want to print out the entire county.

In fig. 2, I moved the area a little bit up northeast. You can see the pink indicator has moved but not the base map. I mean to say that whenever I move the area, the area overview is not centered. I have to drag and select it manually each time which is cumbersome.
Fig. 3 is the screenshot of the pages of book 1.
I need help from all the GIS experts out there. What do you think of the problem? I tried my best to explain it in a simple manner. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers.
