Top Gun: Maverick is awesome. A great movie. People, including myself, have pointed out its many similarities with Star Wars, specifically the trench run sequence, but I wanted to dive a little deeper into Top Gun’s character’s and themes to explore how it shares a similar philosophy with Star Wars as well!
