Hotspot name changed in config, not in Helium map – August 12, 2022 at 12:59PM

Hi all,

I recently moved my hotspot to a new location. It was unplugged for a month or so and upon moving I payed the relocation fee. After my miner showed up on the Helium map as being online in its new location. It was online for around 3 days before the offline status appeared.

We are a week later and today I noticed something strange in its dashboard. The name of the hotspot had changed. In the dashboard, not in my Helium app, nor on the Helium map.

How did this happen? And more importantly, how do I fix this?

What I probably did wrong is not sync the miner fully in its new location and then perform the relocation transaction. But I might be wrong.
