Suggestions on how to create a digital map of property/land for homestead planning? – July 18, 2022 at 01:25AM

I am purchasing an 8 acre farm/homestead and want to have a digital representation of the property and existing structures/fences that I can use for planning. Any ideas on the best way to go about this? I tried to take a screenshot of the property from satellite imagery and was going to draw lines on it using some program and then remove the image, being left with just the property lines/structures/etc. However, I couldn’t find a program that was making this as easy as I thought it’d be.

Any suggestions on how to approach this or tools to use?
