I have seen that on numerous sites there’s 3D maps of cities that you can purchase and print out. I have been playing around with Blender-gis to do the same but with other cities (not all of them are available) and have gotten a pretty decent result (I have almost 0 knowledge of Blender/Fusion/etc.), but now I am stuck in the point where I want to cut my stl into smaller pieces to later put them all together. I tried using Meshmixer but the geometry seems to be too complex and it crashes, and I am quite lost with Fusion 360, same applies to Blender.
All I really want to do is “draw” a few planes where to cut the model into smaller pieces (let’s say 15x15cm) to later export them and print them, it should be doable on Blender, but so far 0 luck… Anyone know a good tutorial I can find somewhere or something I can reproduce for my case?
Thanks!
