So this is a Fan Art piece I made for the Avatar World. I wanted to do one with the style of Avatar Legends elements, and I already made available the map on Magpie’s Discord for fans to use.
Software used: GIMP
Drawing Tablet: Intuos
I had quite a bit of fun with this one. The larger amount of time I spent DODGING and BURNING a FLAT DESATURATED color layer to get stuff to pop and overlaying that onto my Color layer so that I can interchange any colors as I go without losing my highlights and shadows, or having to rethink them. Which is actually quite useful in the long run. Also, I decided to go the direction to keep it without labels or icons for the reason Avatar Legends is set over several eras.
So, as this is fan art, anybody can have fun with it with friends. It is a personal use thing.
