Exercise Red Flag sometimes requires aircraft to be in the air for prolonged periods of time and conduct aerial refueling, perhaps multiple times, before a pilot’s training evolution is finished. At Red Flag 21-2 a KC-135 Stratotanker from MacDill Air Force Base, crewed by members of the 84th Air Refueling Wing, Fairchild Air Force Base, refueled F-16 Vipers assigned to the 64th Aggressor Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, on March 17, 2021.
