Initially just a quick post to establish prior art before holding a co-design session. I will upload files later.
This will be a model of two-part geodesic dome hubs, split apart in a plane on a tangent from the dome surface, such that the two parts can be screwed together with a hole in the middle and in doing so provide clamping force on the rods or beams located at 5 or 6 grooves towards the outside, with rubber pads or similar to allow for deviations in size and improve grip.
These will be intended first for use in 3D printing for prototyping and then compression or injection moulding.
