It occurred to me today that I could mix laser cutting and 3d printing to end up with a more unique looking wargaming barrier in anticipation of Star Wars Legion. These are designed so that you could cut the entire thing out of MDF, or print the shield itself in plastic with 1 or 2 top/bottom shells, low infill, and hex infill pattern with a translucent filament.
