My pants hangers are not practical, when I take one out, the other two come with it. And let’s be honest, it’s a real pain when you can’t wake up and start the day with a fall of pants.
So, I imagined this model mixing 3D printing and wood.
It hangs on a classic triangular hanger (or directly on a rail, but in this case it doesn’t save any space at all!), and allows you to hang three pairs of trousers.
The guides allow the pants to be well separated so that one can be removed from the hanger without dropping the others.
In order to make this object, you will need:
-
print both parts (left + right)
-
have three wooden roundels of the length you want (~33cm should be enough, which is handy because roundels are often sold by 1m)
-
6 small screws 2mm in diameter and a few mm long to fix all this, or glue.
This design is proposed for the competition
#FLASHFORGECULTS
In FDM, 0.2mm layer height, no support, but be careful to put the model back flat.
A little baking to stiffen the whole thing doesn’t hurt, I guess.
Count ~3h30 of printing per side, so 7 hours in total.
