For exemple if someday become possible to take a few cells of mine , genetic modify them and put it in the 3d bioprinter and create a baby, child or even a fully adult with it will the new person be my offspring? What could be the advantages?
Could this technology make even the artifitial womb obsolete or will there people who would prefer to opt to grow a fetus in a machine since it appears more “natural”?
I even think that a fully artifitial, parentless person could be created using this technology together with synthetic biology. It could become necessary as the world population and in most countries begin to drop due to low fertility and natality rate. Synthetic humans could begin to make population rise again.
